At Elysian Foods we're a passionate, small, family-run business based in Alicetown, Wellington. We produce Mediterranean delights in small, handcrafted batches and source fresh, local ingredients as much as we can. We import some ingredients direct from Greece to ensure we retain the flavours our original Greek owners were aiming to achieve.
- Taramasalata dip is made from salted cod's roe and we're the only producers of Taramasalata in NZ!
- Elaiasalata dip is vegan and made from olives and is our original recipe - you won't find this anywhere else!
- Tzatziki dip is gluten free, tangy and full of flavour, made with NZ yoghurt and cumbers.
- Our mixed and chili olives are made with Greek olives, NZ olive oil and a range of herbs and spices.
And we're so excited to bring along our newest dip, Truffle Infused Taramasalata! We've taken our original Taramasalata recipe and added a delicious truffle oil to create a new flavour where the cod's roe is slightly lighter and a lingering truffle flavour - and feedback from a few volunteers to taste it has been extremely positive. We hope you love it too!
