Green Meadows Beef:

Green Meadows Beef was founded by the Carey family in 2012, with the dream to take the grass-fed Angus beef they farmed and deliver it direct to families all across New Zealand.

The three generations of our family have farmed the Green Meadows land for the past 120 years. The 420 acre (170ha) farm is located south of Opunake in Coastal Taranaki, and today services an award-winning online & supermarket business in New Plymouth.

Our unique location, between the majestic Mount Taranaki and the Tasman Sea, and alongside the Taungatara Stream, contributes to the superior quality products we produce. Our Angus steers live free range, happily grazing on grass grown in rich volcanic soil that?s been lightly salted by the sea, and drinking potable fresh mountain water from the local community water scheme.

From pristine farm conditions to animal welfare and sustainability practices, our promise is to connect consumers with our premium, ethical and fully traceable Angus Beef.
